Delia Ehrenberg

Delia Ehrenberg, age 96, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.

Delia was born November 8, 1903 in Green Lake County, Village of Marquette, a daughter to George and Minnie (Harmel) Cluppert. She received her education in the Village of Marquette. On October 25, 1922, she married Richard Fortnum. Richard passed away in 1942. She married Emil Ehrenberg on July 12, 1943 until his death in 1969. Delia farmed with her husband in the towns of Ripon and Green Lake, and served on the School Board for 14 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Pickett.

Survivors include one step-daughter; Betty (Harold) Kovalaske of Eden, WI. One step-daughter-in.law; Elaine Ehrenberg, Ripon; One step-son; Thad (Joyce) Ehrenberg of Markesan, WI. One sister, Elsie Burt of Ripon. One brother; Ervin (Bernita) Cluppert, Markesan, WI. One brother-in law; Edger Gneiser of Ripon; She is further survived by special niece; Lorraine (Cliff) Klatt, Ripon, and special nephew; Don (Alice) Bazeley, Ripon. Also eleven grandchildren, twentyfour great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two husbands, one daughter (Marion Fortnum), one step-son, three sisters, six brothers, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Monday, July 3, 2000 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Pickett. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3, 2000 at the church with Pastor Russell W. Kluehn officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, Pickett.
