Denise J. Floyd, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2016, at her home in Appleton, WI.
Denise was born December 21, 1962, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Earl and Carol Floyd. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1981. At age 50, Denise was very proud and happy to graduate from Moraine Park Technical College. Denise married Mark J. Eberhart on July 28, 1984. They later divorced.
In 1987, Denise founded Creative Waves/Appearances Unlimited beauty salon in Ripon. She was the owner/operator until 2013. Denise loved music, especially playing the piano and guitar and singing. She enjoyed watching and listening to the birds, especially in the early morning as the sun was rising.
Denise is survived by her daughter, Chloe J. (Cody) Wittchow of Appleton, WI; son Lucas J. Eberhart of Madison, WI; grandson, Jaxson John Wittchow; parents, Earl and Carol Floyd of Ripon, WI and Florida; brother, Michael T. Floyd of Oshkosh and his children, Lindsay and Kayla; her children’s father, Mark Eberhart of Ripon, WI; several nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles (special aunt, Marcie Kunkle of Rosendale, WI); other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Joy and Carlton Ferch and Lawrence and Berniece Floyd.
Per Denise’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place and private family graveside will be held at Rosendale Cemetery at a later date.
