Dolores Sherman

November 20, 1909 — May 31, 1989

Mrs. Dolores Marie Sherman, 79, of 628 Emerson St., died May 31, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 20, 1909, in Stanley, SD, to Joseph and Mary Welfl Dorr. On March 10, 1928, she married Warren A. Sherman in Stevens Point.

Mrs. Sherman and her husband owned Sherman's Texaco Station and Sport Shop in Plainfield. In 1976 she moved to Ripon. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, the Rosendale Grange, Modern Woodmen of America, past member of Rebekah Lodge and Ripon Senior Citizens.

Survivors include one son, Warren H. of Ripon; one daughter, Lois (Mel) Coddington of Oxford, seven grandchildren;14 great-grandchildren and one brother, Harold Dorr of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband on July 6, 1961, and one son.

Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 1989, at 10:30 am, at Immanuel United Methodist Church. The Reverend Robert B. LeCount will officiate. Interment will be in the Plover Cemetery, Plover where a graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday.
