Green Lake Dolores R. Wuest, age 71, died Wednesday morning, February 17, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born March 4, 1927 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Marie (Meyer) Tennessen She married Alfred J. Wuest on October 20, 1947, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.
She attended St. Marys School in Fond du Lac. Her early years of marriage were spent farming with her husband in the Fond du Lac area. She also worked as a waitress at Schreiners Restaurant, Fond du Lac, drove school bus for several local school districts, was a nurses aide at Ripon Memorial Hospital, in food service at the Green Lake Conference Center, and most recently she was a volunteer at Ripon community Thrift Store.
Dolores was a member of the FEMA board and the Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs Association. Dolores enjoyed her many bus trips to the casino with her friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by 5 sons, Michael (Marilyn) Wuest, Timothy (Vicky) Wuest, Steven
(Ann) Wuest, Christopher (fiancée Barbara Hartl) Wuest, all of Ripon, Patrick (Lynda) of
Green Lake; a daughter, Suzanne (Ronald) Sanders of Ripon. 14 grandchildren,
Kristina, Jonathan, Shannon, Kimberly, Deanne, Stephanie1 Jason, Melissa, David,
Adam, Anthony, Jennifer, Karissa, and Melina. One brother, David (Bernice)
Tennessen of Wauwautosa, one sister-in-law, Cecelia Roehrig of Dotyville, other
relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1979, and one brother,
William Tennessen. Dolores will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant
Funeral Home, Ripon with Fr. Robert Fictum officiating. Visitation will held at the funeral home prior to the services on Saturday from 9:00 11:00 am.
