Donald Bazeley

Donald R. Bazeley, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI with his family by his side.

Donald was born on August 15, 1930, in Green Lake County, the son of Roy and Dora (Cluppert) Bazeley. He graduated from the country school and continued farming the family farm. On September 15, 1952, Donald married Alice Jahns in Town of Eldorado, WI. Farming was in Donald’s blood as he took over the family farm at a young age. After passing the farm on to his son, Larry, he was able to enjoy fishing and playing cards with his friends, hunting and cutting wood. He and his wife Alice enjoyed 60 years together running the family farm, traveling, going to casinos, playing cards and going to auctions. They enjoyed spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Alice of Ripon, WI; daughters Bonnie (Mike) Thom of Berlin, WI; Diane (John) Bazeley of Markesan, Nancy (Jamie) Roberts of Green Lake, WI., Beverly (James) Stamm of Green Lake, WI., and son Brian (Louie) Bazeley of Ripon, WI., and daughter-in-law Kathy Bazeley of Ripon, WI., nephew DuWayne (Cheryl) Klatt of Massachusettes; grandchildren; Randi (Stacey) Thom, Nikki (Ken) Cherek, Corey (Stacey) Schwandt, Casey (Genna) Schwandt, Jeremy (Mandy) Bazeley, Jason (Jess) Bazeley, Angie (Jeff) Buttjer, Andy Mashuda, Kristi (Nick) Bednarek, Ashley Krueger, Gina Bazeley, Marissa Bazeley, also step grandchildren; Great grandchildren; Quinn and Newton Cherek, Easton Thom, Tracie, Justin and Logan Schwandt, Autumn Bazeley, Conner and Bode Buttjer, Chaz Bednerek, and Landon Loeck. Donald was preceded in death by his sister Lorraine Krause and brother-in-law Cliff Klatt, his son Larry Bazeley, and his parents Roy and Dora Bazeley.

Visitation for Donald Bazeley will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012, from 4-7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Monday, March 19, 2012, from 10 – 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St., Green Lake, WI 54941.

Funeral service for Donald Bazeley will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St., Green Lake, WI 54941. Reverend Rodney E. Dietsche will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Green Lake, WI. Memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church, Green Lake, WI. 54941
