Donald E. Dahms, 55, of Ripon, died Sunday June 1, 1997, at Ripon Medical Center.
Donald was born February 17, 1942, the son of John and Marcella
(Ryerson) Dahms Sr. in Ripon, WI. He graduated from Berlin High School and worked as a mechanic at Stokely Foods in Pickett, he was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and the Sportmen’s Club of Ripon. He also served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany from 1962 to 1964.
Survivors include one brother, John Dahms Jr. of Ripon; three aunts, Loretta Dorsch of Ripon, Mrs. Marie Ryerson of Ripon, Mrs. Sophi Ryerson of Ripon; and one uncle, Donald (Dorothy) Ryerson of Ripon; numerous cousins.
Funeral services for Donald will be held Wednesday June 4, 1997, at 10:00 A.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Pastor Eric Burnard officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Burial will follow in the Nepeuskun Cemetery, Town of Nepeuskun. A memorial has been established for Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon in Donalds name.
