Donald Edward Witkowski, age 69, of Bandera, TX, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015, of complication of a semi accident.
Donald was born February 21, 1946, in Berlin, WI, the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Jodarski) Witkowski. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1964. In 1995, Donald married Mahin Motamedi at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Berlin. He worked at various places of employment. In his earlier years, Donald worked at Speed Queen and Green Giant. He also worked as a farmer and finished out his days as a truck driver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoying being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Mahin Motamedi-Witkowski of Bandera, TX; daughter, Diane (James) Boese of Ripon, WI; son, Benjamin Witkowski of Edgerton, WI; step-daughter, Tatiana Werlinger-Guldager of TX; three grandchildren, Joshua and Grant Boese and April Witkowski and two sisters, Barb Klosterman of Ripon, WI and Dorothy Stricker of Kewaunee, WI. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life for Donald will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, from 1 – 4:00 pm at the Nepeuskun Town Hall, 1475 County Road E, Ripon, WI 54971.
