Donald Fisher

Donald Fisher, age 93, of Pickett, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Omro Care Center in Omro with family members at his side.

Donald was born on December 24, 1913 in the Town of Utica the son of Frank A. and Sancta Sarah (Bradley) Fisher. He attended Tice School and on October 30, 1937 he married Bernice I. Pugh in Oshkosh. Donald’s love of farming was only exceeded by the love he shared with his family. He was a farmer in the Pickett area all his life, and attended Countryside Christian Church and bowled in several bowling leagues.

Survivors include; his wife of seventy years Bee, their children; Jean (Clarence) Kolodzik of Pickett, Carol (Roger) Bartel of Conroe, TX, Frank (Rochelle) Fisher, and Earl (Beth) Fisher both of Pickett, and Doris (Mark) Collier of Evergreen, CO, grandchildren; Terry (Kris) Kolodzik, Connie (Bill) Johnson, David (Diane) Bartel, Darren (Jennifer) Bartel, Paul Fisher, Gary Fisher, Donna (Tim) Beck, Debbie (Larry) Hanson, Brenda (Kevin) Kasuboski, Brian (Wendy) Fisher, Eric Bohn, and Andy Collier. 26 great grandchildren also survive. Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Donald Fisher will be held on Thursday, December 6th, 2007 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home from 6:00-9:00 pm. Friends may also call on Friday from 10:00-11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.

Funeral Service for Donald Fisher will be held on Friday, December 7th, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Gregory C. Decker officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. A Memorial has been established.
