Donald Richard Fude, 64, W13112 Hwy 23, Ripon, died Friday, January 26, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center.
He was born May 2, 1931, in Iowa, a son of the late Richard and Viola Krueger Fude. He attended Fairwater Grade School. He served in the Army during the Korean War. On October 13, 1956, Don married the former Vilas Zabel and they have made their home in Ripon. Don was employed at Speed Queen, Ripon in the RSPC Dept. and was a member of United Steel Workers of America Local 1327. Don was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon and the Ushers Club of the church.
He is survived by his wife, Vilas; 2 daughters, Lori Fude (Eric) Lund of Bloomington, TN and Melissa Fude and her fiance’, Andrew Krumenauer of Brandon; 1 brother, Glenn(Genevieve) Fude of Ripon; and 4 sisters, Sandy (Terry Gokey) Naparalla of Oakfield, Dolores (Adry) Sell of Brandon, Lois Fude of Fond du Lac and Dorothy (Ken) Craw of Fond du Lac.
Funeral services for the late Donald Richard Fude will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 29, 1996, at Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Holte will officiate and interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 until 4 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
Memorials will be given to Grace Lutheran Church in his name.
