Donald Kloehn, age 67, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
Donald was born in Appleton, WI, on August 6, 1941, the son of Silas and Irma (Sherman) Kloehn. He graduated from Appleton High School and Ripon College. Don married Martha Stende in 1965, and worked at Triarch Inc. as a biologist until his death.
Survivors include his wife Martha “Marty” Kloehn of Ripon, WI; three daughters Jo (Gerry Snow) Kloehn of Anchorage, AK, Jill (Stephen Capps) Beroset of Boston, MA, Jaclyn (James) Schroeder of Burnsville, MN,; two brothers Tom Kloehn of Milwaukee, WI, Richard (Barbara) Kloehn of Denver, CO; one sister Gretchen (Ralph) Berggren of Santa Fe, NM; one sister-in-law Ann Kloehn of Appleton, WI. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother John Kloehn.
Visitation for Donald Kloehn will be held on January 17, 2009 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Donald Kloehn will be held on January 17, 2009 at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Reverend Mark R. West will be officiating. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon, WI. Memorials will be given to “The Clearing” 12171 Garrett Bay Rd, Ellison Bay, WI 54210.
