Donald U. McCauley, 86, of Green Lake, died on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Donald was born in Altoona, PA on June 3, 1922, the son of Reno and Pearl (Kilmer) McCauley. Donald graduated from high School in Evanston, IL, and attended Northwestern College in IL. On May 17, 1965 he married Marcella Rein in Ironwood, MI. He served his country in the US Army, and worked in the cookie packing department at Rippin Good Cookie, in Ripon, WI. Donald was a member of the Winneconnie American Legion Post 364, and a very dedicated Chicago Cubs fan.
Survivors include his wife Marcella of Ripon; his children, Donna Magee of MD; Steven (Dana) McCauley of TN; Lori (Jim) McCauley-Childress of MN; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother.
