Donald Albert Milbrath, age 59, of Ripon, WI, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at Berlin Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Donald was born October 8, 1941, in Lakefield, MN a son to Albert and Birdelle (Rademacher) Milbrath. He attended St. Pauls Lutheran Grade School and Lakefield Public High School. He attended Mankato State College and was employed at Aid Association for Lutherans as a District Rep. for 10 years. He was formerly employed at Pamida, Inc. and W.T. Grant Co. On September 15, 1962, he married JoAnn Brendle in Austin, MN. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon and the Ripon Early Bird Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Milbrath of Ripon; daughter, Sharon (Eric) Anderson of Wilmington, DE and daughter, Linda (Peter) Cano of Dublin, CA. Also survived by one brother, Daryle (Linda) Milbrath of Coleridge, NE and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dennis Milbrath and one sister, Beverly Glover.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 24, 2001 at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with Pastor Paul Mose officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 24 at the church from 9:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon.
