Donald E. Naparalla, 67, of 207 State St, Ripon, passed away Thursday afternoon, August 25, 2005, at University Hospitals in Madison.
He was born May 7, 1938, in Ripon, the son of Walter and Myrtle (Schmuhl) Naparalla. Donald graduated from Ripon High School in 1957. He was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard. He worked at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac as an inspector and retired after 30 years. He lived in Oakfield for a short time, and then moved to Ripon. On January 22, 1982, he married Linda Smith. Don was a member of Hillside Assembly Church of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughter, Tina (Jeffery) Bloch of Ripon; son, Troy Naparalla (fiancé Shelley Jeske) of Sheboygan; stepdaughter, Nicole (Garry) Harmel of Oshkosh; 4 grandchildren, Emily & Lexie Bloch of Ripon, and Evan & Eric Naparalla of Fond du Lac; and 1 step-granddaughter, Lindsay Harmel of Redgranite.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and stepfather, Frank Katerzynski.
Funeral service for Don Naparalla will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Hillside Assembly Church with the Rev. Donald Deike officiating. Friends may call on Monday, August 29 from 4-7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, and again on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
