Donald “Butch” Walter Nickoli, age 70, of Rosendale, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at Berlin Memorial Hospital in Berlin, WI.
Butch was born on November 27, 1939, in Brandon, the son of Edward and Mary (Linetty) Nickoli. He graduated from Rosendale High School and on April 2, 1977, Butch married Barbara Mallison. He worked as a fork lift driver at Ripon Pickle Factory for 48 years until he retired while farming his whole life.
Survivors include his wife Barbara of 33 years; son, Mike Nickoli both of Rosendale; daughter, Michelle (Bryan) Nummerdor of Ripon; grandson, Travis Nummerdor of Ripon; sister, Dorothy Braford of Fond du Lac; many nieces and nephews; lifetime friend, Martin “Sport” Struharik; and his new little puppy, Homer. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Nickoli; sister, Alice Nickoli; two nieces, Bonnie (Braford) Schmitz and Barb (Braford) Rogler.
Visitation for Donald Nickoli will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971 and then again on Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 9 – 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Donald Nickoli will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A memorial is being established in Donald’s name.
