Donald Lester Toney, age 55, of Berlin, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at his home with his family by his side.
Donald was born June 5, 1959, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of James and Dorothy (Gerth) Toney. He attended school in Oshkosh and was employed with Oshkosh Corporation as a general fabricator. Donald was also an EMT in Berlin for several years. In 2001, he married Karen Schaetzka Williams in Fond du Lac. Donald enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, camping and riding his Harley.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Toney of Berlin, WI; son, Nicholas (Amanda) Toney of Green Lake, WI; daughter, Sarah (Daniel) Kuhnz of Beaver Dam, WI; grandchildren, Bryce, Grayson and Liam Toney and Hayden, Hadley and Dawson Kuhnz; six brothers, Jim (Terri) of West Monroe, LA, Brian (Laura) of Oshkosh, WI, Joel of Neshkoro, WI, Curt (Dorothy), Matt (Karen) and Edward Toney all of Oshkosh, WI and his sister, Kathleen Toney of Oshkosh. Donald was further survived by many nieces and nephews, his puppies and many close friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Donald will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 3 – 4:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Donald will be held on Saturday, August 16. 2014, at 4:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. A memorial is being established in his name.
