Dora Helen Vollbrecht, age 98, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 1992, at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she was a resident.
She was born on January 22, 1894, in Manchester. On November 12, 1913, she married Henry Vollbrecht. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1963. Mrs. Vollbrecht was a housewife and had resided in the Rosendale area all of her life. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale and a member of the Ladies Aid. She was a charter member of the Rosendale Community Grange and a member of the State Grange.
Surviving are three daughters, Margaret (LaVern) DeCramer of Rosendale, Iva (Desmond) Henning of Green Bay, and Mrs. Roger (Doris) Sales of Rosendale; ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Nitzke of Ripon; and two sisters, Elsie Wetzel of Brandon and Ella Kuehl of Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services for Dora Vollbrecht will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 1992, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. The Reverend Bruce Buslaff will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosendale Cemetery. Visitation is form 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. A memorial in her name has been established for Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale.
