Doris M. Albright, 80, of 50 Wolverton Ave, Ripon, passed away early Thursday morning, March 20, 2003 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
Doris was born on September 16, 1922 in Pickett, the daughter of William and Hannah (Kroll) Schlaack. Doris attended Pickett Grade School and Ripon High school, and on December 1, 1945 she married Norman L. Albright. They farmed together in the Town of Brooklyn. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include one son; Wayne (Pat) Albright of Ripon, three daughters; Karen (John) Rice of Brookfield, Cindy (Tom) Conlin of Brookfield, and Carol (Randy) Cluppert of Ripon, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother, Wilbert Schlaack of Florida, and two sisters; her twin sister, Dorothy (Robert) Lieske of Ripon and Jean (Leonard) Keith of Ripon, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Norman, one infant grandson, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services for Doris will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, at 11:00 am with the Rev. Mark R. West officiating. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Assn, Southeast WI, 6130 West National Ave.\Suite 200, Milwaukee, WI 53214 in Doris’ name.
