Doris Milne

Doris M. Milne, age 78, of Ripon, died March 18, 1998, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.

She was born July 24, 1919, in Plainfield, a daughter to Frank and Hazel (Knight) Milne. She received her education in Plainfield, spent many years in Lind Center, and the last 8 years lived in Ripon. For much of her life, Doris acted as a housekeeper for many private businesses and residences. She married Everett Davis on February 13, 1940, and he preceded her in death. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Berlin.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Donna Broder and Esther (Elmer)
Rosanske, both of Ripon; 6 sons, Ronald (Karen) Davis and Douglas Davis of Markesan, Dennis of Ripon, Daryel of Markesan, Mark (Sandy) of Wautoma and Donald of Markesan; 2 brothers, Robert Milne of Pine River and Raymond(Harriet) Milne of New York; 2 sisters, Edna Stier of Weyauwega and Ruth(Charles) Paige of Eureka; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson,Brian Schatzke and I brother, Clarence Milne.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 1998, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with The Reverend Paul Holte officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. A Memorial is established.
