Doris Laverne Pierce, age 64, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 1985, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
Doris was born May 30, 1921, in Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of John and Emily (Parks) Jennings. She graduated from Ripon High School. Doris was a waitress for many local restaurants and a sewing machine operator for many years at Advertisers Manufacturer Company.
Survivors include one son, Gary Pierce of Princeton, WI; one daughter, Sandra Schueler of Markesan, WI; eight grandchildren, four sisters, Muriel Cluppert of Markesan, WI, Marilyn Rueckert of Ripon, WI, Betty Schmick of Sandy, Utah and Ruth Ann Cluppert of Fairwater, WI. She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and her parents.
Visitation for Doris will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 1985, from 5 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Doris will be held on Thursday, June 13, 1985, at 1:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend James D. Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica.
