Dorothea M. Bradley, age 88, of Ripon, died Sunday, July 21, 2002, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
She was born January 22, 1914, in the Town of Byron, the daughter of Frank and Ida (Gransee) Warren. She was a graduate of Union Free High School in Rosendale, and on February 14, 1942, she married Neal D. Bradley. Dorothea was employed at the Ripon Knitting Works from 1933-42, and later worked in the Ripon School Lunch Program from 1962 until her retirement in 1979. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon and the Ladies Aid Society. She was a lifelong resident of Rosendale and Ripon.
Survivors include her 5 children, Douglas (Gaylene) Bradley of Oshkosh, Cheryl (Bruce) Miller of Ripon, Barbara B.J. Bradley of Lancaster, KY, Marland (Betty) Bradley of Springhill, FL and Roseann Reynolds of Byron, IL. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Kristine (Darren) Timm, Mark Bradley, Tammy (Christopher) Williams, Kevin (Pamela) Miller, Matthew (Kimberly) Miller, Chad Miller, Shawn Oligney, Melinda (Michael) Labrecque, William Lawrence, Michelle (John) Larson, Kevin (Katie) Bradley and Jason (Melanie) Reynolds; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Harvey Zellmer and MacDougal (Elaine) Bradley; and sisters-in-law, Laurea, Jennie and Bernice Warren, Margie and Toni Bradley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal on May 16, 1988; parents; 4 brothers, Marvin, Raymond, Franklin, and Gerald Warren; 3 sisters, Gladys Warren OBrien, Evelyn Warren Kohnke and June Warren Zellmer; brothers-in-law, Donald OBrien, Arthur Kohnke, Frank, Job, Myron, John and Clark Bradley; sisters-in-law, Bernice, Nellie and Agnes Bradley, Verna Jones, Ida Anklam and Mabel Slover; and several nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2002, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
