Dorothea Luedke

Dorothea Frances Lannin Luedke, age 83, of Ripon, died May 10, 2001, at St Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

She was born May 22, 1917, in Omro, a daughter to Robert and Katherine Lannin. She graduated from Berlin High School and attended Oshkosh Teacher’s College. On June 23, 1941, she married Ralph Luedke. Dorothea had been a teacher and a florist, and had lived in Ripon most of her life. Mrs. Luedke was a member of St Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon.

Survivors include 4 sons, Robert (Loretta) Luedke of Fairwater, Kenneth (Jewel) Luedke of DePere, John Luedke of Wautoma, and James Luedke of Ripon; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Gordon Lannin of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 17, 2001, at 11 a.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon with Fr. John A. Schmitz officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7:30 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Visitation will also be Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
