Dorothy M. Giannini, age 75, passed away on Monday morning, December 3, 1990, at her home in Sunnyside, Green Lake.
She was born August 24, 1915, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Frank and Genevieve (Sedlack) Irvine. Dorothy was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and worked as a musician throughout the country before retiring. She has served in the Asian Theatre United Service Organization during WWII. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church of Ripon.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia (Richard) Whiting and her brother, James (Joan) Irvine of Green Lake, five nephews, and two stepsons, Edward and Robert Giannini. Her husband Edward preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 1990, with the Reverend Robert J.C. Brown Officiating. Memorials may be made to Ripon College Dorothy Mae Giannini fund.
