Dorothy Flower Janze, age 79, formerly of Green Lake, died May 19, 1997, at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh.
She was born December 29, 1917, in Chicago, IL, a daughter to James M. and Dorothy (Griffith) Flower. She graduated from school in Chicago, and on March 4, 1935, she married Norman G. Janze. She was a member of the
Federated Church of Green Lake and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Norman C. of Oshkosh; 2 daughters, Lucy (Mrs. E.C. Leach) of Berlin and Deborah (Mrs. Gregory F. Barber) of Green
Oaks, IL; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, James Flower of CA and Kenneth Flower of FL.
Private family funeral service was held Tuesday, May 20, 1997, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Burial followed in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. There was no visitation.
