Dorothy E. Kohl, age 97, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Wolverton Glen in Ripon.
Dorothy was born on August 11, 1915, in Winnebago County, the daughter of Arthur and Alma (Gorges) Kohl. She married Victor Kohl. Dorothy graduated from high school and went on to also graduate from college. She worked as a journalist for Oshkosh Northwestern Newspaper and Ripon Commonwealth Press. Dorothy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her son, Tom Kohl of Ripon, WI; her sister, Bernice Griffin of Palm Desert, CA and nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Victor and daughter-in-law, Patricia on June 15, 2012.
Per Dorothy’s wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Readfield, WI at a later date.
