Dorothy Messerschmidt, age 75, of Green Lake, WI, died February 2, 1995, at her home. She was born October 18, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Emma Siewert. Dorothy was educated in the Green Lake area and lived in Green Lake all her life. She married Clarence Messerschmidt on February 17, 1944.
She was a member of The Federated Church of Green Lake.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence, a brother, Douglas Hare of Green Lake, a sister, Lucille Piosikowski of Berlin, nephew, Claire Kaatz (Jan) of Green Lake and niece, Lorna Silbough (Roger) of Madison, and their families.
Private funeral services for Dorothy Messerschmidt will be held February 4, 1995, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI with the Rev. Kent Meyer officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at the Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn.
