Dorothy Morse

Mrs. Dorothy M. Morse, 92, of 825A Illinois Avenue, Green Lake, died Friday, August 5, 1988, at Juliette Manor Nursing Home in Berlin.
She was born July 16, 1896, in Merrill to Frank and Katherine (Hanify) Doucette. On September 20, 1919, she married Elmer Morse. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1976.
Mrs. Morse was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake; Dartford Educational Club; one of the founders of the Green Lake Yacht Club Bridge Benefit.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Rothwell of Mission Viejo, CA, Mary Kay MacNeill of Green Lake and Linda Carpenter of Oak Brook, IL; one sister, Mrs. William Quick of Wauwatosa; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 9, 1988, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. Burial in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
A memorial has been established for “Thursday's Child” of Madison.
Arrangements are being handled by the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
