Dorothy M. Solem, age 82, of Green Lake, passed away at Berlin Memorial Hospital in Berlin, on November 4, 2008.
Dorothy was born in Leavenworth, KS, on January 3, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Catherine (Overholt) Wrigley. She graduated from high school in Mooseheart, IL, and on October 12, 1945, she married Edgar C. Solem in Yuma, AZ. She worked as an insurance underwriter and a homemaker.
Survivors include her three daughters, Joanne Krawczyk of Chicago, IL, Linda (Mike) Keenum of Grays Lake, IL, and Mary (Phil) Hensley of Franklin, IN; five grandchildren, Mark Annerino, Mike Keenum, Amanda Keenum, Jim Krawczyk, and Kimberley Krawczyk; and four great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son-in-law, Vince Krawczyk.
Visitation for Dorothy M. Solem will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008, from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established in her name.
