Dorothy Evelyn Stellmacher, age 99, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Barrett House in Ripon.
Dorothy was born in Kingston, WI, on February 17, 1923, the daughter of William and Nada (Berent) Hahn. In 1947 she married Willard Stellmacher, who passed away in 2014. Dorothy worked at Ripon Knitting Works for many years and later at McGregor Sand Knit in Waupun, WI. She was a member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, and enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Gail Voigtschild of Fond du Lac, WI; three sisters, Marion Hennes of Ripon, WI, Elaine Kriegl of Princeton, WI, and Shirley Polus also of Princeton, WI; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Stellmacher; son-in-law, Ervin Voigtschild; and three brothers, Wilton, Robert, and Richard Hahn.
A private family visitation will be held at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, WI. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. A memorial is being established in Dorothy's name.
