Dorothy W. Stuart, age 88, formerly of Ripon, died Wednesday, January 29, 1997, at Webster Manor in Omro.
She was born December 27, 1908, in Milwaukee, a daughter to the late George and Anna Johnson Wynhoff. She graduated from school in Milwaukee, and on August 4, 1931, she married Alfred H. Stindt. Mr. Stindt passed away on December 2, 1963. Dorothy later married Kenneth H. Stuart, and he passed away on July 16, 1974. Dorothy worked for many years until her retirement in the Shipping Department Office at Speed Queen in Ripon. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ripon and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one brother, George Wynhoff of San Diego, CA; and five nephews, David Kilgore of Green Bay, Thomas C., Paul J. and Michael L. Kilgore, all of Ripon, and Peter S. Kilgore of Annandale, VA. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and one sister, Helen W. Kilgore.
There will be no visitation. Private family graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon with Reverend John N. Bixby officiating.
