Dorothy Zinda

Dorothy Campbell Zinda, age 83, Montello, died April 19, 1999, in Montello.

She was born in Stevens Point on May 25, 1915, a daughter to
Walter and Victoria (Pelarski) Campbell. She graduated from Stevens Point
High School and St. Mary’s Nursing School. Mrs. Zinda was a nurse. On
June 3, 1939, she married Bernard Zinda in Marshfield. She lived in
Pewaukee most of her life and was a member of St. Charles Catholic
Church in Hartland for 53 years. She currently was a member of St.
John’s Church in Montello.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Gretchen (Joe) Hopfinger of Montello and Gwendolyn (Tony) McGowan of Cedarburg; 1 son, Gregory (Linda) Zinda of Waukesha; 7 grandchildren, Jenni, Jodi, Joe, Jason, Erin, Justin, and Jenna; 1 great-grandson, Zenon; and 1 sister, Ramona O’Kray of Stevens Point. Her husband preceded her in death.

There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Charles Catholic Church in Hartland on Monday, April 26, 1999. Please call 414-367-O8OO for time of Mass. lnurnment will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Memorials in her name will be given to the Alzheimer’s Assn.
