Dr. Dalbert Richard

Dr. Dalbert J. Richard, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, died Saturday, March 19, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Richard was born September 11, 1909 in Jennings, LA the son of Oscar and Evan Marie (Bergeaux) Richard. He was educated at George Washington University School of Medicine and was a doctor for 28 years in Alexandria, VA. On October 21, 1934, he married Gertrude Schmidt. Dr. Richard entered the Army as first LT. in 1941. He was a Regimental Surgeon in European Theatre and was discharged in 1945 as a Major.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two daughters, Jacqueline Richard of Cherry Valley, CA and Dianne Singles of Wautoma, WI; four grandchildren, Stephen Cullen, Amy Cullen, Richard Singles and David Singles and one great-granddaughter, Annette Cullen. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation for Dr. Richard will be held on Monday, March 21, 1988, from 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Dr. Richard will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 1988, at1:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend Carl Stubenvoll will officiate. Interment will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
