Dr. Ralph Licking

Dr. Ralph A. Licking, age 76, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Ralph was born March 29, 1910, in Logansport, IN, the son of Lewis and Emma (Vogel) Licking. He served our country in the United States Army Dental Corps in Washington, DC for five and a half years. Ralph graduated from Ripon College in 1934 than from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 1938. On September 21, 1940, Ralph married Ilma Schachtchneider in Plymouth, WI. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Ilma; two sons, Dr. Thomas of Marshfield and Lawrence of Visalia, CA; five grandchildren; one brother, Chester of University Park, IL and one sister, Bertha Mae Puro of Havre de Grace, MD.
Visitation for Ralph will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 1986, from 7 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Ralph will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 1986, at 1:00 pm at Grace Lutheran Church with Reverend Carl L. Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon.
