Drusilla Dru Mae Mansmith, age 86, of Markesan, WI, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Markesan Resident Home.
Dru was born on September 20, 1926, in the Town of Marion, WI, the daughter of Alfred and Beatrice (Grahn) Kolpin. She graduated from Neshkoro High School and on April 12, 1947, Dru married Victor Mansmith. She worked as a bookkeeper for different companies throughout her life. Dru was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Green Lake and of First Congregational Church, UCC in Ripon. Dru was always helping others who were less fortunate and she always made time for her family.
Survivors include four children, Clyde Mansmith of Ripon, WI, Cynthia Anderson of Cudahy, WI, Craig (Sue) Mansmith of West Bend, WI and Charlene (Jerry) Black of Trion, GA; daughter-in-law, Sharon Mansmith of Fond du Lac, WI; five grandchildren, John and Joanne Borek, Jason and Alissa Mansmith, Starsha King and Nick and Shannon Olson; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Clinton (Millie) Kolpin of Westfield, WI and sister, Elvera Perr of Ripon, WI; Emil Pionkes family and many nieces and nephews. Dru was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Victor; brother-in-law, Stanely Perr and special friends, Emil Pionke and William Rusch.
Visitation for Drusilla will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 4 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Drusilla will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Joanna DAgostino will officiate. Inurnment will take place at Garden of the Cross in Ripon at a later date. A memorial is being established in her name.
