Duane Charles Hageman, age 65, of West Palm Beach, FL (formerly of Ripon, WI), passed away on February 26, 2022 at his home in West Palm Beach.
Duane was born in Oshkosh, WI on June 17, 1956, the son of Oscar and Marilyn (Andresen) Hageman. He graduated from Ripon High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at UW Oshkosh. He worked as a security guard for many years. Duane had a passion for genealogy and spent most of his free time researching families’ ancestral history.
Duane is survived by his mother, Marilyn Hageman; a sister, Tamara (Tom) Widlake; a nephew, Clinton (Stephanie) Widlake; a niece, Melissa Ludjack; several great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Hageman; paternal grandparents, William and Leona Hageman; and maternal grandparents, Hugo and Grace Petrie.
Visitation for Duane will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A memorial service for Duane will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. Inurnment will take place at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI, at a later date. A memorial is being established in his name.
