Dustin Morris

Dustin J. Morris, age 24, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at his home in Ripon.

Dustin was born on August 15, 1986, in Framingham, MA, the son of Charles and Jill (Fuqua) Morris. He graduated in 2005 from Ripon High School and in June of 2009, Dustin graduated from Lawrence University, with a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance. He was a self-employed musician in voice, vocal coach, piano, guitar and composition. Dustin also worked at Comfort Suites/Royal Ridges in Ripon as a set-up person, part time. He was a member of Ripon Community Church, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International and the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include his parents, Charles and Jill Morris of Ripon,WI; one brother, Logan Morris and one sister, Eliza Morris both of Ripon, WI; two half-sisters, Heidi Stover of Whitehall, IL and Susan Puffer of York, ME; three half-brothers, David Morris of York, ME, Stephen Morris of North Berwick, ME and Charles Morris Jr. of Eugene, OR and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews throughout Minnesota, New England, North and South Caroline, Texas, California and Florida. Dustin was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Elva Morris Vogt; maternal grandfather, John Fuqua and maternal grandmother, Janine Genovese; maternal great-grandparents, Madge and LaVahn Maesch.


Visitation for Dustin Morris will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011, from 9 – 11:00 am at Ripon Community Church, 155 State St. Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial Service for Dustin Morris will be held Friday, April 15, 2011, at 11:00 am at Ripon Community Church in Ripon. Pastor Jack Igel will officiate. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International, 26 Broadway, 14th Floor New York, NY 10004 or Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Inc., 3834 County Rd. A. Rosholt, WI 54473.
