Earl Bartz, age 67, of Ripon, met his Heavenly Father on Monday, July 23, 2007 at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
Earl was born on March 10, 1940 in Portage, WI the son of Clarence and Edna (Wagner) Bartz. He graduated from Westfield High School and had 2 years at the Business College of Madison. Earl married Glenda Fritz in Westfield in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965. He worked as an Accountant at Green Giant in Ripon and retired from Seneca Foods of Ripon. Earl was a member of Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, Markesan.
Survivors include his wife Glenda of Ripon, children; Patricia Lindsay of AZ, Janet Bartz of VA, Richard (Terri) Bartz of Brandon, WI, and David (Christi) Bartz of IL, 7 grandchildren; Zachary, Briana, Hailey, Anna, Samuel, Cooper and Caleb. Earl was preceded in death by his parents. Earl enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren, traveling the open road on his motorcycle, and fishing.
Visitation for Earl Bartz will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 4-7:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Friday, July 27, 2007 from 10-11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, County Road K, Markesan.
Memorial Service for Earl Bartz will be held on July 27, 2007, at 11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, County Road K, Markesan, with Reverend Gary Zacharias officiating. Full Military Honors will follow at the Church. A memorial has been established.
