Earl H. Burk, age 53, of Milwaukee, WI passed away on Monday, July 11, 1955 at Milwaukee County General Hospital.
Earl was born in Watertown, SD on April 19, 1902, the son of Frank and Agnes (Fisher) Burk. He was educated in Gordon, WI and on June 10, 1930 he married Nyla Schroeder.
Earl is survived by his wife, Nyla Burk of Milwaukee, WI; three sons, Carl and Tom of Milwaukee, WI, and Earl Jr. stationed in California; two daughters, Mrs. Rex Arndt of Ripon, WI and Lynn Burk of Milwaukee, WI; his mother, Agnes Stienberg; two sisters, Mrs. Arnold Prellwitz and Mrs. Fred Sayler both of Ripon, WI and one brother, Lloyd Burk of Crystal Lake, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Burk; and a brother.
Funeral service for Earl will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 14, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, WI, with Reverend Erwin C. Westhouse officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, Wisconsin.
