Edgar W. Rudolph, age 85, of 548 W Fond du Lac St., Ripon, passed away at Michalene’s in Ripon on Friday morning, August 6, 2004.
He was born November 8, 1918, in Renville, Minnesota, a son to Wallace and Florence (Anklam) Rudolph. He attended Ripon High School. On November 19, 1938, he married Alice Rachel Bartz in Ripon. Edgar worked for Perfection Glass Co. of Oshkosh as a salesman, and News America Marketing as a supervisor. Edgar was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon.
Survivors include 1 son, Douglas A. Rudolph of Ripon; 2 grandsons, Jason (Jackie) of Madison WI, Damon of Ohio; 1 granddaughter, Danelle of Ohio; 6 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett (sons of Jason and Jackie), Kourtney, Kiley, and Kelly (daughters of Damon); and Grant (son of Danelle); 4 brothers, Harvey (Wilma) of Montello, Norman (Donna) of Ripon, Carleton (Joyce) of Ripon, and Gary (Pat) of Ft Walton Beach, Florida; and 2 sisters, Leona (Arnold) Dahlke of Ripon, and Marlene (Harry) Walkowiak of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rachel on November 5, 1994; and 1 brother, Wallace Rudolph, Jr.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon with Rev. Sandra Krynik officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale. A memorial has been established.
