Edgar C. Solem, age 73, of Green Lake, died Wednesday, April 3, 1996, at his home.
He was born February 12, 1923, in Evansville, IN, a son of the late Edward and Rose (Frey) Solem. He was educated in Chicago, IL where he graduated from high school. Edgar served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1951. On October 12, 1945, he married the former Dorothy Wrigley. Until his retirement, he had been an automatic screw machine operator at Stewart & Warner of Chicago. He moved in Green Lake in September 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; 3 daughters, Joanne (Vince) Krawczyk of Chicago,IL, Linda (Mike) Keenum of Grayslake, IL, and Mary (Phil) Hensley of Charlotte, NC; 5 grandchildren, Mark (Michele) Annerino of Naperville, IL, Mike & Amanda Keenum of Grayslake,IL, and Jim &
Kimberley Krawczyk of Chicago,IL; and 1 brother, Gene Solem of Mesa, AZ.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 1996, at 11 A.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 7 P.M. at funeral home. Cremation will take place.
