Edith Amrhein

Edith Anna Amrhein, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, January 3, 1991, at her home.

She was born February 3, 1907, in Oak Center, WI, a daughter of August and Eleanor (Carrier) Radtke. On August 3, 1931, she married Oscar Zimmerman. He preceded her in death in 1965. On May 11, 1974, she married Clarence Amrhein and he passed away January 1, 1979.

Mrs. Amrhein was educated in Brandon. She had been a housewife, living in the Ripon area most of her life. She had been a member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pickett.

Survivors include one son, Arden (Doris) Zimmerman of Markesan; two daugthers, Ardes (Kenneth) Edmonds of Berlin and Beryl (Henry) Wrzinski of Rosendale; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-sons, Orlin (Joann) Amrhein of Cincinnati, Frank (Edna) Amrhein and Chuck (Doty) Amrhein, both of Fond du Lac, and Casper (Casey) Amrhein of N. Fond du Lac; two stepdaughters, Kathy (John) Eggers of Fond du Lac, Judy (Jacques) Henes of Dayton, Ohio; fifteen step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren, one sister, Eva Siebenhaar of Fairwater and one sister-in-law, Laura of Brandon. She was preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Radtke.

Friends may call on the family on Sunday, January 6, 1991, from 4 until 8:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Amrhein will be Monday, January 7, 1991, at 1:00 p.m. at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett with the Reverend Alvin Aichele officiating. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery, Brandon. A memorial has been established in her name.
