Edna Davis, age 92, of Ripon, WI, died Wednesday, December 18, 1996, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
She was born August 3, 1904, in Elo, a daughter to the late Herman and Ida (Roeder) Kroll. She attended school in Pickett. On September 9, 1924, she married Percy Davis and they made their home in Rush Lake until moving to Brandon in 1935, where they farmed most of their married life.
Edna is survived by five daughters, Shirley (Vern) Shanely of KS. Betty Marquart of Ripon, Loretta (Jim) Howard of MI, Lois (Warren) Stone of CO and Joan (Lee) Stibb of Ripon; five sons, Gordon (Pearl) Davis of Sauk City, Everett Davis of Fond du Lac, Den (Sharon) Davis of Sheboygan, Marvin (Janice) Davis of Brandon and Ron (Sandy) Davis of Fond du Lac; daughter-in-law, Lona Mae Davis of Markesan; three sisters, Myrtle Kloehn of Oshkosh, Lillian Schaefer of Appleton and Ethel Ruszak of New York; thirty three grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Warren Davis.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 21, 1996, at 11 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Davis Busker will officiate and burial will be in the Omro Cemetery in Omro.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
