Edna Loomis

Edna Lawrence Loomis, Ripon, WI, died on March 26, 1994, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon, after a month long illness. Born on July 30, 1907, in Livonia, NY. She was educated at Genessee Wesleyan Seminary and Rochester Institute of Technology and later studied at Syracuse University. She was a member of the DAR, the Book Club and the Eastern Star Lodge #94 in Appleton.
She is survived by her husband, Judson Loomis of Ripon; her daughter, Estella (Charles) Lauter of Appleton; two grandchildren, Kristin and Nicholas Lauter; and two sisters, Elva Plimpton and Anna Rowcliffe.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Services will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Wednesday, March 30, 1994 at 10 a.m. A memorial in her name has been established.
