Edna Pauline Phipps, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
Pauline was born on November 12, 1923, in Indiana. She graduated from high school in Washington County in Indiana. In 1943, Pauline married J. H. Swayze and then after his passing on August 19, 1983, she married Junior Alfred “JR” Phipps on June 21, 1989, who then passed away on May 9, 2009. Pauline was a homemaker and was a member of Wiersdale Baptist Church in Florida.
Survivors include her son, Tracy (Laura) Swayze of Ripon, WI; one grandson, Benjamin Jay Hughes Swayze of Ripon, WI and her step-daughter, Arlene Clark of Wiersdale, FL. Edna was preceded in death by both of her husbands.
Visitation for Pauline will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 5 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, December 29, 2012, from 9 – 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Pauline will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Laura Hawkins will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A memorial is being established.
