Edna Siewert, 90, formerly of Ripon, died Monday, May 31, 1999, at Parkview Care Center where she had resided the past 2 years.
She was born August 2, 1908, the daughter of Karl and Emma (Warnke) Fude. She was educated in West Rosendale where she spent her early years. Edna was a housewife and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ. She had lived in Ripon most of her life, and enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Delores (Larry) Retzlaff, Betty Lou Retzlaff and Shirley (Hank) Grams, all of Ripon; 2 sons, Robert (Susan) of Fond du Lac and Kenneth (Joan) of Rosendale; 11 grandchildren, Linda, Douglas, David, Dale, Duane and Dean. Jim and Jill, Janine, Dwight and Lisa; and 7 great.grandchildren; Tanya and Eric, Douglas II and Kyle, Dakin, Samantha and Kaitlyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Charles Siewert, 1 son-in-law, Arnold Retzlaff, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 4, 1999, at 11 AM at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon with the Rev. James D. Mohr officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the Chapel from 9 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Rosendale Cemetery. Memorials to Our Saviour’s Radio Fund.
