Edna G. Waltenberry, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, April 7, 1986, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Edna was born October 7, 1914, in Green Lake County, WI, the daughter of Robert and Ella (Harder) Roeder. She was educated at Center House School. Edna married Robert W. Waltenberry in Ripon on June 15, 1939. She worked for Green Giant and Schenke Printing. Edna was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, the Rebecka Lodge, Ripon Schmear League and Lakeshore Homemakers.
Survivors include one son, William of Ripon; one daughter, Beverly Fenner of Ripon; two grandchildren, two brothers, August Roeder of Ripon and Robert Roeder of Markesan and one sister, Gertrude Lehman of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on January 30, 1985; two sisters and one brother.
Visitation for Edna will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 1986, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with a Rebecka Service at 7:30.
Funeral Service for Edna will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 1986, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
