Edna M. Yerk, age 87, of Ripon, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at Miller Home Care, Ripon.
She was born April 29, 1912, on Sugar Loaf at Green Lake, a daughter to Herman and Helene (Kropp) Schroeder. She graduated from Green Lake High School. On October 19, 1932, she married Roland Yerk. In her early years, Edna had waitressed in Ripon and Milwaukee.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Zeto; granddaughter, Deborah (James) Ryerson; and brother-in-law, Carl Yerk, all of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, and son-in-law, Kenneth Zeto.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2, 1999, at 6 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon with the Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in her name.
