Edna Anna Ida Zech, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 1985, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Edna was born February 23, 1898, in Marathon County, WI, the daughter of Charles and Ida (Krueger) Zamzow. She married Frank C. Zech in November of 1917 in Berlin. Edna was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include Edythe (Glenn) Schattschneider of Brandon, WI, Grace (Albert) Schattschneider of Ripon, WI, Ruby (Walter) Vollbrecht of New Mexico and Vera Wepner of Ripon, WI; one son, David Zech of Brandon, WI and twelve grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Angela Stratton of California and Ruth Otto of California; two brothers Harold and Ralph Zamzow of Rush Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank on March 7, 1984.
Visitation for Edna will be held on Sunday, June 16, 1985, from 5 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Edna will be held on Monday, June 17, 1985, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun.
