Edward Bliske

Edward H. Bliske, age 69, of 44 Lawndale St., Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 14, 1986, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
Edward was born on June 24, 1916, in the Town of Deerfield, Waushara County, the son of Albert and Tillie (Courts) Bliske. He attended school in Wautoma. Ed worked as a quality control inspector at Speed Queen for 40 years until his retirement. On June 21, 1941, he married Esther Graper in Springfield, WI. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ and Speed Queen 25 year club. He had lived in Ripon since 1941. He served in the United States Army during WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Reier of Wautoma and Mrs. Donald (Margaret Christman of Wisconsin Rapids). He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 1986, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Edward Bliske will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 1986, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
