Edward "Eddie" White

Edward “Eddie” J. White, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Ripon Medical Center.
Eddie was born December 9, 1930, in the Town of Mackford, WI, the son of Henry D. and Hattie A. (Lewis) White. He graduated from Markesan High School in 1949. On September 15, 1956, Eddie married Elaine P. Lindeman at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. He was a farmer his whole life. Eddie was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Eddie found great joy through the years attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting activities.
Survivors include his wife of over 59 years, Elaine White of Ripon, WI; son, Lynn (Angie) White of Wausau, WI and their children, Logan and Alexis White; daughter, Lori (Brad) Sall of Neenah, WI and their children, Hayden and Lauren Sall; two sisters, Carol Strelow of Fairwater, WI and Audrey (Don) Buettner of Beaver Dam, WI; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Verne and Sylvia Wepner of Oshkosh, WI; one brother-in-law, Orin Galow of Markesan, WI and two sisters-in-law, Audrey White of Ripon, WI and Connie White of Waupun, WI and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hattie White, seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Marie), Robert, Orien (Myrtle), Kenneth (Alice), Henry Jr. (Margaret), James (Shirley) and Richard White, one brother-in-law, Buryl Strelow and one sister-in-law, Arla Galow.
Visitation for Edward will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 10 – 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Edward will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Clay R. Salmela will officiate. Interment will follow at Loper Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established in his name.
