Edward Grusczynski

Edward Grusczynski, 85, of Ripon, WI, died Wednesday, December 6, 1995, at his home after a three month, hard fought battle with cancer.
On April 30, 1910, he was born on the family farm which had been in the family since 1889, a son of the late Frank and Wilhemina Sasada Grusczynski. He attended Apple Grove Country School. On July 10, 1948, he married the former Ellen Weisser. He farmed on the family farm all of his life. Eddie was a member of the Ripon Lions Club, former school board member, past D.N.R. member, charter member of both Ducks Unlimited and Wings Over Wisconsin, past president of the Manchester Rod and Gun Club and past president of the Green Lake County Farm Bureau. Eddie was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Ellen; two daughters, Marlene (Kenneth) Young of Neenah and Donna (Howard) Sell of Markesan; four granddaughters, Kristy Lynn (Tim) Geiger, Brenda (Jeff) Schwaller, Pam (Dale) Kluge and Becky (Thad) Grandt; seven great-grandchildren, Alicia, Justin, Colt, Amanda, Amber, Bryan and Savanah; one great-great-granddaughter, Noelle; and an honorary family member, Jay (Annette) Clark of Tennessee. He was preceded in death by one son, John and two sisters.
Funeral service for the late Edward Grusczynski will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 10, 1995, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Memorial contributions will be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ and Hospice.
